Interpersonal Trust

Interpersonal Trust to me is very important. Especially in relationships, no matter if its a relationship between you and your boyfriend/girlfriend, or family, or friends. Trust is the basis of all relationships. I know I've had some problems with trusting people. Boyfriends cheating on me, makes you loose your trust for them very quickly. Then when you don't have trust what do you have? A worried person that isn't in an unhealthy relationship. Trust is so easy to loose and so hard to gain. I know when someone has deceived me I think it is very hard to think that they won't do it again. You can loose someone's trust within seconds, for example, your friend tells you a secret but then you tell your friend and she finds out, she won't trust you anymore and it only took a matter of seconds for you to loose that. My words of advise with this, be true to your loved ones and then you should get that in return.

I agree, trust is a small word with a very important meaning. Once trust has been lost, you may still love that person, but it takes years to learn to trust them again. It can be done, if they are willing to work with you, and understand you periods of distrust. They have a lot to gain, after all they are the one who will have earned your trust once again.
