Honesty

My personal views on honesty are mixed. I enjoy an honest person .. however, at times I have problems being honest with others. I believe that it is something that I can work on. The things I lie about are meaningless, "Yes.. I took the trash out".. when Im thinking to myself, "Why did you just say that?" Mostly I lie to my mother, I have a problem with lying to her. She likes to get mad at me, so I'd rather just tell her what she wants to hear so I don't have to hear it from her. I think deep down she knows I'm lying to her. Its truely viscious circle between the two of us. Will it ever end?
